Cost of IVF cycles with the patient's own eggs:
Currently we offer three IVF treatments with the woman’s own eggs:

IVF with standard insemination costs $9,285.
Split-ICSI-IVF where some of the eggs undergo standard insemination and some undergo ICSI costs $9,985.
ICSI-IVF where all eggs have ICSI costs $10,685. If MESA or TESE are required to obtain sperm, the approximate additional cost is $10,773.

The choice of one of these treatments is based upon clinical assessment of each patient with specific regard to the likelihood of failed fertilization without ICSI. Patients undergoing their first IVF cycle generally have Split-ICSI-IVF whereas couples with male factor infertility have ICSI-IVF. Couples who have previously demonstrated normal fertilization rate without ICSI in our laboratory are candidates for standard insemination.

The above costs include either assisted hatching or extended culture to the blastocyst stage should either technique be appropriate. The cost of medications is not included and it varies widely from $1,500 to $4,000. Financing through Family Fee Plan can be used to cover Dr. Chetkowski’s professional fees.

Discounts:

Patients who have completed their first IVF-ET cycle, receive a $1,100 discount on fees during a subsequent IVF-ET cycle conducted within a 6-month period.

Additional discounts are available for patients who pre-pay 2 or 3 IVF cycles to be conducted within a 6-month period. Discounts for pre-payment are available to all patients without medical pre-qualification. Patients who pre-pay 2 IVF-ET cycles to be completed within a 6-month period receive a $1,000 discount on fees in addition to the $1,100 discount that applies after the first cycle.

Patients who pre-pay 3 IVF-ET cycles to be completed within a 6-month period, receive a $2,000 discount on fees in addition to the $1,100 discount that applies to the second and third cycle.

A sliding-scale reduced fee program is available for couples in the lower income brackets who qualify medically and financially.

Cost of pregnancy initiation with donor eggs:

The all-inclusive cost of treatment with donor eggs ranges from $15,925 to $24,820 when donors recruited by our program are used. The lower price reflects sharing of the oocytes and donor costs by two recipients each of whom receives half of the eggs retrieved. When outside egg donor agencies are used, the total cost tends to be higher and is more variable. When a dedicated donor (such as a relative or friend) is recruited by the recipient, the cost is similar to the cost of IVF ($9,300 - $10,700, see above) plus the cost of medications and screening.

If MESA or TESE are required to obtain sperm, the approximate additional cost is $10,773.

Patients who have completed their first donor egg treatment cycle, receive a $1,100 discount on professional fees during a subsequent fresh cycle conducted within a 6-month period.
